Specification for Sliding Gates

Microprocessor controlled sliding gate operators

Sliding gate operators all work on the same principle to operate the gate - a pinion on the operator drives a rack which is fixed to the gate. When the pinion rotates the gate is driven open and closed.
• Units are available in 240V or 24V.

• Entry and exit activation options include remote hand transmitters, photo electric sensors, or any other specified access control system.

• In some situations free exit can be obtained by positioning a photo electric beam or an induction loop across the exit roadway.

• Safety is paramount and the method is often dependant upon the site layout. Options include photo electric sensors and/or induction loop on a non ferrous gate. Safety edges mounted to the gate are necessary on some sliding gates.

• Sliding gate automation can be installed to steel, timber or plastic gates

• Most units operate within a temperature range of -20 deg C to 45 degrees C. If extreme cold is a possibility then extra systems can be incorporated into some units to increase the temperature operating range.

Maintenance contracts
In order to allow customers to comply with regulations regarding automatic gates we provide a maintenance option to suit the customers requirements and the door system in question.
