Traffic control systems
We supply, install, commission & maintain a complete range of barrier and bollard products as outlined below.
All components are CE marked to comply with EU machinery directives.
Our installations comply fully with BS 7036 Parts 1 to 5. All systems are fully commissioned prior to handover. Optional maintenance schedules are tailored to customer requirements and matched to barrier use.
Electro Mechanical barriers & Hydraulic barriers offer:
Entry
and exit activation using remote hand transmitters, induction loops set
into the roadway or any other specified access control system.
Free exit can often be obtained by positioning a photo electric beam or an induction loop across the exit roadway.
Safety is paramount and the method is often dependant upon the site
layout. Options include photo electric sensors and/or induction loop.
Most units operate within a temperature range of -20 deg C to 45 deg C.
If extreme cold is a possibility then extra systems can be incorporated
into some units to increase the temperature operating range.
Electro Mechanical barriers also offer the benefit of fully adjustable
barrier parameters including barrier boom speed and opening delay.
240V input with a current rating of 4.0 amps
Electro Mechanical or Hydraulic bollards
Bollard
activation for the bollards can be by remote hand transmitters,
induction loops set into the roadway or any other specified access
control system.
Bollard de-activation can be by any of the above methods.
Safety is paramount and the method is often dependant upon the site
layout but must be designed to ensure that a bollard cannot be raised
whilst a vehicle is over the bollard.
