Specification for swing doors
- Doors and frames systems selected from one of our partner suppliers to suit the specific requirements of the project.
- All door and frame systems are designed in conjunction with the client to ensure that the finished system will fulfil all the sites requirements whilst maintaining the aesthetic qualities that are required.
- Door operators selected from any of our door automation supplier partners to suit the specific requirements of the customer and also of the site.
- Microprocessor controlled swing door operators.
- Activation can be via motion sensors, push pads or any other specified access control system.
- These units can be installed and programmed so that when pedestrians push the door, the operator unit assists in opening the door and closes it directly.
- In accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act, the door can also be activated automatically using a push pad control.
- Safety options include presence sensors on both the opening and closing side of the moving door leaf. Guide rails can be included as required. This is dependent upon the site layout.
- Door operators can be finished in any RAL colour.
- Swing door automation can be installed to either inward or outward opening doors.
- Installation can in many cases be carried out on existing as well as new doors.
- Fully adjustable door parameters including leaf speed and opening delay as required by BS7036 plus additional features depending upon the system selected.
The low energy swing door operator can be set to achieve the required 20N force at the door edge to comply with the current low energy door operator regulations. More usually this operator would be specified for internal doors with push pad activation.
